‘Embrace’: an art exhibition by Frances Bailey
Clare Arts Office in conjunction with Scariff Library Gallery is delighted to present ‘Embrace’, an art exhibition by Frances Bailey.
Venue: Scariff Library Gallery, Scariff, Co. Clare
Date: 13th February to 8th March inclusive
Frances Bailey is a Clare-based artist who has been painting since 1976 and is an accomplished artist in oils and acrylics. She is the founder of the Mulbin Art Group which is a group of friends who paint together in the Newmarket-on-Fergus area for fun and relaxation. Frances also volunteers her skill and knowledge to teach painting in day care centres in Newmarket-on-Fergus and Clarecastle. She has held many exhibitions in various spaces over the years including Bank of Ireland Ennis, Allied Irish Bank Ennis, Health and Wellness Centre, Limerick City Art Gallery, St Fachnan’s Cathedral Kilfenora and many more venues.
Frances has an array of paintings but particularly loves to paint landscape and still life. She has a unique gift for disseminating her acquired knowledge of art and is a valued teacher of art in the Clare area.
Her current exhibition is titled ‘Embrace’ because she is donating one-third of proceeds to Clare Haven Services for the support of families in need.
This free exhibition runs until 8th March 2024 inclusive, and everyone is welcome.
